Earth Overshoot Day is this year a few weeks later, because of COVID-19 pandamic.
Due to the Corana-Virus-Pandamic this years Earth Overshoot Day is later in comparison to former years (compare: https://www.overshootday.org/
, last visit 17.08.2020). But this is only because of the worldwide nation-specific lockdowns. Sustainable development still plays a crucial role for a good future.
