Care for and enhance a sustainable living basis on spaceship Mother Earth.

On a planet with limited dimensions and finite resources, we should make wise decisions about what to do with the natural boundaries and possibilities we have.

Protecting and restoring eco-systems, landscapes and our surroundings in a sustainable way is vital for our existence: e.g. for clean water, air, soil, food and nourishment, moderate climate temperatures. It is cheaper to restore planet Earth than to try to live on planet Mars. Mars is further away from the Sun, much smaller and has much lower gravity than Earth. This would have an impact on the development of life on Mars. Our nature and we developed on Earth. There could be a reason why we are here. Some further things we can do are, for example:

• use energy efficient devices and light sources
• save energy - the best energy is the energy we do not need
• lending, sharing and secondhand use of products and things
• implement consequent circular economies
• ecological construction and renovation
• stopping deforestation around the globe
• forestation and afforestation of forests
• sustainable agriculture, fishery and forestry
• buy sustainable and fair produced products
• produce and store your own renewable energy, e.g. with wind and solar
• access to clean energy, medical care, education and other basic needs for all humans
• sustainable behavior not only at home
• invest in renewable energy and/ or sustainable companies and banks
• leaving fossil fuels in the ground
• use heat pumps
The respective sustainable development possibilities are numerous, because the world is full of solutions. Politicians should make progressive sustainability policies to make the right things possible, a good future with biodiverse life on Earth – the pearl in the solar-system.
