Gemäß www.overshootday .org(Stand: 29.07.2019) fällt der Erdüberlastungstag im Jahr 2019 bereits auf den 29.07.2019. Das heißt, weltweit wurden die Ressourcen und Dienstleistungen der Erde stärker beansprucht, als unser Planet in einem ganzen Jahr erneuern kann.
