A sustainable development so that also future generations can satisfy their needs seems necessary. We must sustain our living basis, because there is no second earth where we could fly to.

The rise of clean technologies.

Increasing the use of clean technologies is vital for current and future generations respectively for sustainable development.

To reduce our ecological footprint clean technologies are begining to make a difference. Renewable Energies like windpower and solar power, geothermal and hydropower substitute more and more fossil fuels. Energy efficiency technologies are saving energy and money. The best energy is energy you do not need. Recycling, reuse, refurbish and sharing things and materials help to prevent environment pollution. Electric vehicles and the increased use of busses and trains also help to reduce the stress on our environment. Last but not least information technologies and shared knowledge can contribute to a better future.
